The CFNRV hosted Casino Royale on December 9th at the River Company Restaurant and Brewery for over 130 guests. Proceeds from the dinner, live auction and casino games support the CFNRV's programs and operations.

The Community Foundation of the New River Valley hosted a gathering of eighty-five donors, friends and nonprofit leaders at the Draper Mercantile & Trading Company in Pulaski County on November 30th to celebrate over $45,000 in grant awards in its fall distribution cycle.

Join us for an elegant evening at Historic Smithfield with wines from Attimo Winery, hors d'oeuvres by Professional Catering, and music by blues duo Chickenwings and Gravy. Tours featuring the portraits in the Smithfield home will also be ongoing throughout the evening. Proceeds benefit the CFNRV's ongoing programs and operations.

The Community Foundation held its Annual Meeting at the Inn at Virginia Tech on May 24, 2011. Thanks to our keynote speakers, Alan Leet of the Giles Fund, Philadelphia Wilkens, a scholarship winner, and Chris Lichty of Pulaski County 4-H.
